Mediterranean feeling, right on the idyllic Walensee, surrounded by high mountains.. A paradise for surfing, canoeing, hiking and enjoying.. In the self-service restaurant Lago Mio there is a large selection of drinks and food.. Pretty garden on the lake.. Moderate prices and amazingly good food.. There are also toilets there.. There is more parking after the restaurant.. It also has picnic areas, fire pits and benches.. If you want you can swim, but the Walensee is rather cold.. But the water is crystal clear, so clear that the surrounding high mountains are reflected in the lake.. The frequent wind ensures that the Walensee is a paradise for surfers..
Access for large mobile and caravans not suitable..
The place is expensive but great.. Chargeable 24 hours a day.. Cheaper it stays in Weesen.

Large banner stretched across the driveway ´Camping prohibited´ Parking lots well attended as always, on Sunday afternoon when we drove away (15:00) the driveway was closed due to overcrowding.. Fees are quite high, but very nice place.
