On the Burgrain estate of the former agricultural school in Willisau LU, an organic model farm has emerged that aims to appeal to farmers and consumers alike. Around 10,000 visitors from all over Switzerland attended the opening in early May 2013. ´Experience Agrovision shows organic farming from the grass to the plate,´ says Andi Lieberherr, Managing Director of Agrovision Burgrain AG. Visitors gain insights into production, processing and trade. The farm includes organic dairy cattle farming, chicken husbandry, apiary, organic cheese dairy, wood-fired bakery and an organic market. An organic restaurant, rooms for events and a large children´s playground complete the offer.
