Tirus opens bankruptcy proceedings

On November 16, 2007 the Dutch Tirus Group BV filed for bankruptcy. This affects the plants in Chateau in Belgium and Kip in the Netherlands, the latter with the brands Beyerland, Chateau, Delta, HomeCar, Kip and Avento.

This development deprives the Isny-based German sales company of the business basis, which is why, in the wake of the insolvency of the Dutch parent company, an application to open a Has filed bankruptcy proceedings.

This affects the Cristall motorhomes.

In the Belgian chateau plants, some work is carried out under the direction of the insolvency administrator, to make ordered caravans and motorhomes ready for delivery.

How a settlement can take place is currently being clarified. It is said that the Kip plant in Hoogeveen will get new owners and that it will be able to continue its work.

To what extent this could also apply to Cristall is not yet ready to be decided.
