There are different opinions about the speed limit for motorhomes in Spain. Since it is quite expensive in Spain to be caught speeding up, I will write down what is currently being distributed by the responsible Spanish authority:

For motorhomes up to 3, 5 t, without trailer, outside of built-up areas:

100 km / h on motorways (autopista / autovia).
90 km / h on motor vehicle roads with at least 2 lanes in one direction
or at least 1.50 m wide shoulder / shoulder lane.
80 km / h other country roads.

Motorhomes over 3, 5 t or with a trailer are treated like trucks:

90 km / h on motorways (autopista / autovia).
80 km / h on motor vehicle roads with at least 2 lanes in one direction
or at least 1.50 m wide shoulder / shoulder lane.
80 km / h other country roads.

In urban areas there is a limit of 50 km / h for everyone.

These speed limits were published in spring 2008 by the Spanish Ministry of the Interior, Department of Transport (DGT, Direcci n General de Tr fico) as Regulation 08 / V-74 and are binding for the appropriate police forces (e.g. Guardia Civil de Tr fico).
