Lahti is located about 100 km north of Helsinki and is the seventh largest city in Finland with just over 100,000 inhabitants.. The sports ground is located in the west of the city with an athletics and football stadium and the Salpausselkä ski jumping facility «70 m, 90 m and 130 m jumps»..
