Anyone wishing to travel through Switzerland with a motorhome over 3.5 t or in transit must pay a heavy load tax.
How does it work when you come to the border and have no relevant papers yet?

At the border station, you contact the border police and fill out the application. After paying the fee of 32.50 Swiss Francs (euros and / or cashless Eurocard are also accepted), you will receive a form in which you have to enter every day you intend to stay in Switzerland.
For the above 32, 50 SFR you can stay in Switzerland for 10 days, they are valid for one year from the date of issue.
