She married her colleague Alexander R mpler, according to whose plans a summer villa was built in the Seefeld district in 1909 with a magnificent view over the lake to the Schafberg. Immediately after the beginning of the First World War, Hedwig Bleibtreu donated the villa and its facilities for the wounded in the Austro-Hungarian Army. It is still in use today as a rest home for army officers.
