Campingplace Berat, Ura Vajgurore, Albania

  Berat is one of the oldest cities in Albania and is a World Heritage Site. The castle and three parts of the city with their old cityscape, called the city of 1000 windows, are worth seeing. The suburb of Ura Vajgurore is located about 12 km northwest of Berat on the main road SH 72. In this suburb there is a comfortable campsite in the green under olives and fruit trees. Very friendly owners who live on the property. The place is not too big and is well frequented.
There are good facilities such as VE, electricity, grill, WIFI, restaurant, laundry etc. The power supply is being improved. Taps are mounted on the fence. After advice, take a bus in front of the door or organized by the owner. The street noise is somewhat reduced by the development, but there is a sawmill in the neighborhood,whose noise is a bit on my nerves during the day. Next door is a winery, they say the wine tasting is overcharged.
