The last note is correct: motorhomes are not allowed in the front parking lot, like practically all other parking spaces, see the ticket machine label :-( But the rear parking area is for motorhomes, cars and buses. Costs an outrageous €15day, shorter That´s not possible, but there are extremely short (who does that??) parking bays that are extremely sloping in two directions, a disgrace for the city.

There is a sign prohibiting mobile homes on the square, we only saw cars there and therefore drove on. {mod}perhaps the motorhome ban applies to the large remaining parking lot? The places behind the gendarmerie should (?) be for mobile homes
