The BrachwitzAngeln jetty (with the necessary certificates) can be found almost anywhere on the bank. And if you haven´t caught anything or don´t want to go fishing at all, you can get original Italian stone-oven pizza served every day (except Tuesday) in Ciccio´s Pizzeria, which is a full three minutes´ walk from the site were recently redesigned and all have a view of the Saale.

Very idyllically located on the banks of the Saale@ The Saale cycle path leads through the village. The ferry is 300 m away. The Saale cycle path changes banks here. But you can also cycle here in the direction of Halle. The site is occasionally used by water hikers for camping. Space rental payable by machine. @There is no infrastructure except for two restaurants. But that makes it all the more relaxing.

Very quiet parking space right on the banks of the Saale, not far from the ferry (camper van with 2 people €5.40) at a small harbor on a meadow that is unfortunately not quite flat. Unfortunately, apart from electricity (1 €kWh) and waste containers, there is no infrastructure whatsoever. @The parking machine also takes bills up to €20 and changes.

Yes, there is electricity here, I couldn´t find a V AND E or even water. A parcelling was not recognizable. This meadow was so bumpy that you had to be careful even on foot. What clearly towered over everything was the parking ticket machine. What you are sure to have here is complete tranquillity. But just rest for 10 euros was just too much for me, so I drove on.

The place surprised us after we had been guided there on very small country and connecting roads after leaving the A14. The village is tiny. It has 2-3 restaurants and pubs in the high season and on the weekends. When we visited at the end of August 2020, all were closed. The former bakery now houses an advisory office, so no bread rolls other than your own. We enjoyed it for one night there. Certainly the place is also very interesting for paddling tours on the Saale for longer standing times there.
