Quiet location on the Melinenburg site and yet very central. The old town is about 3, 8km away. Next place to the city outside the environmental zone.
Public transport every 10 minutes. At night the Nightliner drives past the square. Shopping opportunities Lidl, Netto, Rewe nearby. Riding stables 400m, quarry pond, sauna and outdoor swimming pool approx. 550m.

Pitch ideal for visiting the city. There is a bus stop about 200m from the parking space, with good connections to the city center. We were very quiet here and still pretty central. We can highly recommend the place!

The operator says that the square has been open all year round since 2011, with the exception of the corona closure. The place is very quiet, the only thing that is loud at night in May is the nightingale. The place was almost full of motorhomes and none of them had any problems finding the place. I really do not understand why is still in the forum that the place is closed. *********************** Note Pr fmod: that was only in the text as information, I have now removed it. if a place is closed, it can be seen from the signet! But unfortunately the operator has not made himself comfortable to this day, although we took the trouble to email him to provide clarification. I find THAT strange, especially since the advertising for him does not cost anything. You could at least expect someone to respond to inquiries.

I went to the Leipzig pitch again. No sanitary facilities but still great space. Has been expanded in the last year. Fixed concrete parking spaces with green spaces in between and a great disposal system. Price currently 15 euros per night plus 1 euro guest tax per person. The pictures in the forum are totally out of date. (NO) ************************ Note Pr fmod: you are welcome to click on the place on the homepage linked here. if the pictures are out of date, it is advisable to send new ones and mark the older ones as ´old´. . . . that works in the portal (the FORUM has nothing to do with it) but I can see right now that YOUR pictures are the OLDEST. . . from 2009 !! There are also some from other users from 2018 and even from last year (2020)

The 70-iger bus takes you directly to the V lkerschlachtdenkmal and Pnanometer. It´s very quiet here at night. The place was easy to find. Just turn off at Bistro Pr g and you´re there.
