Highly frequented shooting range for sport shooters on the other side of the street. sometimes very loud!! Not for bulletproof dogs.
Above the square there is a fantastic hiking trail/walk/cycle path along the Sorge River with benches and plaques about the wild animals that live there.

We were surprised that this time we had to drive into a restricted zone according to the signs. We were there for the second time to visit the beautiful city of Lucca - from here you can easily cycle (2 km). Check-in was possible until 7 p.m. in September 2023. With us only cash payment (25 5 = 30 € for 2 people and tax). Plots tend to be a little shorter. Everything we needed was there.

Shooting next door could annoy some. Think about it if you have sensitive dogs. About 1km to the city wall. The place must be vacated by 11 a.m. the next day. For € 25, - electricity, water, supply and disposal as well as WiFi included.
