Good location for taking the cable car to the Karwendel or for a stroll through town. A hike to the Leutasch Gorge is also easily possible from the site. There are residential buildings nearby. Please do not overdo camping and, above all, do not leave rubbish behind. Glass containers are available.

Overnight stay allowed - still !!! There were complaints from residents that cassettes were emptied under the hedges and the garbage was disposed of in the private bins in the neighborhood. Info from the tourist office in Mittenwald.

The ´WoMo day car park Im Schwarzenfeld´ (2226990) can be renamed a normal parking space and the info ´Overnight not allowed´ can be removed.. It is obviously a reserve space, a sign indicates that payment is to be made at the machine opposite (SP 2230904).
