Large parking lot under the guidance of Karwendelbahn AG, where stays of several days are possible with a ticket. NOTALLY camping-like behavior in any form is permitted, so please only either during the day to visit the area and / or at best for an overnight stay (ask on site !!!) without asking anything.

A trash can would be very helpful. You have to admire the discipline of the users. The place is clean.

It is an official RV park! There is a clear sign for this. There is no disposal. The ToiToi toilet was also removed. The place costs €15 as the ticket only counts for the day up to 23.59. It is beautifully situated in the center of Mittenwald, 5 minutes by bike and 15 minutes on foot. The old town is worth seeing and you can cycle wonderfully along the Isar. There is a good cycle network in the region, although an e-bike is sometimes helpful. The hikes in the Karwendel mountains are something for alpinists with wonderful views. The region around the Lautersee and Ferchensee is fantastically beautiful. {mod}right, that´s why the place also has a parking space symbol. . . and the 15 euros are still correct.

Only parking space for overnight stays. ********************* Note Pr fmod: no, it is explicitly allowed to stand for motorhomes on a sign, therefore it is classified under real parking space (because in contrast to the parking lot there is no risk of being evicted at night!)

A stupid parking ticket machine. If you come at 4 p.m., you pay 15.00 for an overnight stay. At 7.50 you can only park until 11:59 p.m. So you have to sacrifice another 7.50. @

A difference to the parking space opposite cannot be seen. There were even more mobile homes here, as the place is right on the river. From my point of view it´s just ONE place. At least the same symbol should be used. Then more of a parking lot, also to stay overnight, it is not a real parking space. (NO) ********************************* Note test mod. . yes that is a difficult thing. Both places are owned and operated by Karwendelbahn-AG and there are currently violent residents´ complaints against both places. The alternative place was probably set to parking space due to the comment from 2019 that the machine can be used to pay for Womos. Since I cannot find anything illuminating on the homepage of the Karwendelbahn, I leave the signets as they are, especially since you don´t knowhow long the space can still be used due to the resident protests.
